Eating Disorder Trainings for Clinicians
Let’s be real, education around eating disorders in grad school was basically non-existent.
Perhaps you don’t directly work with eating disorders, but it’s likely you’ve worked with/are working with clients with disordered eating struggles OR an undiagnosed eating disorder they don’t know about.
Eating disorders don’t have a ‘look’ and often co-occur with a variety of other mental health conditions. And because our culture glorifies disordered eating, clients might minimize their struggles.
The good news is that with your existing therapeutic skills and a little education around eating disorders, you can better identify clients with eating challenges and connect them with appropriate care.
